Antoine Pinto

“I was born in Toulouse in the south of France. My family and I moved to Thailand when I was only 11,” recalls the elder Pinto brother.

“I was spending most of my days with just my brother, Victor ‘Leo’ Pinto, and we got to a point where we wanted to meet new kids and luckily there was a Muay Thai gym right where we lived

“We just went there to meet kids and play and trained a little bit, but here it’s a normal thing to just train then fight. So we never stopped. Of course it was a not easy growing up in foreign country being the only foreigner in a 2,000 student school, but Muay Thai helped a lot.”

These days the Pinto brothers are in demand as fighters internationally and they enjoy some celebrity status in Thailand, where they spend most of their year. Between them they now own a chain of fitness studios.

“I guess my biggest motivation is my dad. He gave everything in order for me and my brother to be successful, so i just try to make him proud everyday,” muses Antoine.

“Now I’d say i have a triple life living as a boxer, actor and businessman. My brother and I opened a few gyms in Thailand and we are looking to expand overseas soon. I also work a lot in the entertaining business here in Thailand. So i don’t have much free time. Only hard work!”
