GLORY Programming Begins Airing on Saturday, Dec. 10 with GLORY: COLLISION, GLORY 36 Germany, and GLORY 36 SuperFight Series

On Tuesday, GLORY hosted a press conference at Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam to announce broadcast details for GLORY: COLLISION – a special event headlined by one of the most anticipated match-ups in combat sports history – and to hear from the event's headline fighters.

Ahead of their showdown years in the making, reigning GLORY world champion Rico “The King of Kickboxing” Verhoeven (49-10, 13 KO) and long-time divisional kingpin Badr “The Golden Boy” Hari (106-12, 93 KO) fielded questions from the media in attendance.

Jon Franklin, CEO, GLORY also announced a monumental broadcast deal for the organization, revealing Ziggo Sport as the new home for GLORY content in the Netherlands "throughout 2017 and beyond."

The deal begins on Saturday, Dec. 10 with live broadcasts of GLORY: COLLISION, GLORY 36 Germany, and GLORY 36 SuperFight Series. In addition to live event content, shows that utilize archived footage and exclusive interviews like GLORY Countdown and GLORY Rewind will also appear on the sports television channel that reaches over 4 million subscribers.

Will Moerer, Vice-President Ziggo Sport added: “At Ziggo Sport, we are always looking for content to enrich our programming. The basis of our channel remains of course the English Premier League, Spanish Primera Divison and Formula 1. Thanks to our partnership with GLORY, we will also broadcast the kickboxing events organized by GLORY via Ziggo Sport and Ziggo Sport Totaal in the coming years. When Rico Verhoeven challenged Badr Hari through our sports talk show Peptalk to engage in the fight several months ago, it was clear to us that we should broadcast this fight. It is great that it worked out and that we are able to offer Dutch viewers the fight of the year on December 10.”
